Martha Stewart Weddings recently featured customized crosswords for the next-day brunch, but word searches are also a fun idea to include either in a welcome bag for out-of-town guests or as a wedding favor. You can give Courtney from Flush Designs up to 30 words to put into your customized word search; she can do letterpress or ink jet printing.

If you want to make one yourself, you can buy Crossword Forge software (they offer a free demo) to design your own crosswords and word searches. You can also use the Discovery Channel's free puzzlemaker online to create your own wordsearch or crossword.

When my sister got married my mother created a crossword puzzle for the rehearsal dinner. It was great fun.
That's such a cute idea for the rehearsal dinner! I imagine if you create your own, it would be really inexpensive to do print yourself.
The clues and the answers all had to do with the bride and the groom.
At the wedding of some of my other siblings were "games" as well. (At the rehearsal).
(there are 7 of us and 6 are married and 5 have kids--I am the only one who doesn't have kids--medical problem).
